Connections
You are unique!
My favourite T shirt is black with white script signed by the artist Ben. The script says “Je suis unique au monde” and that’s true: I am unique in the world. What delights me is that I purchased that T shirt in a shop in the village of St. Paul de Vence, in Provence—from the top of a stack of identical T shirts, each also proclaiming uniqueness.
So we are universally and equally unique. How wonderful! Your uniqueness and my uniqueness make it vital for us to connect. Without you, I’m missing part of what I might learn about living in this world. So we need to maintain our connections in as many ways as we can.
And that’s what I’m offering in this part of the website: all sorts of connections, from recent news to archives of long-ago newsletters, from reviews of the latest books to a collection of wisdom both ancient and modern, from links to current colleagues and networks to acknowledgements of the people I have learned from over the years, from reviews of my favourite films and music to a collection of testimonials from my clients, and then a place called Creations which includes links to favourite articles by my colleagues and a collection of my own articles, book chapters, and poetry.
